Served in the U.S. Army as a flight surgeon in the 3rd Infantry Division at Giebelstadt, Germany. Then I switched to the U.S. Air Force and was stationed as the Chief of Aerospace Medicine with the 45th Space Wing at Patrick AFB/Cape Canaveral AFS, Florida. I was a senior flight surgeon attached to NASA for space shuttle support from Kennedy Space Center. Also served as the Chief of Aerospace Medicine at the 71st Flying Training Wing at Vance AFB, Oklahoma. I was fortunate enough to pilot the following military helicopters: TH-55, UH-1 Huey, UH-60 Blackhawk, OH-58 Kiowa, and AH-1 Cobra. Also piloted the following jet aircraft: T-37 Tweet, T-38 Talon, F-16 Fighting Falcon. Visited 19 nations on five continents.

    Thanks for becoming a fan Gregory. Very impressive biography. Thanks for the service to our country. Did you get to see many shuttle launches? It's weird knowing there may never be another one. I'm glad to see a man of obvious intelligence join the writing ranks at BR. Being a Sooner fan just proves what a bright guy you are. I'll check out some of your articles as soon as I get a chance.
