About

Born into a baseball family, I was lucky enough to have a father who pitched professionally, became a minor league pitching coach, and has more than a decade as a scout for various MLB teams. While in college, I became an assistant baseball coach at Countryside High School and an instructor at The Winning Inning Baseball Academy in Clearwater, FL. I then wrote for Bleacher Report between November 2008 and December 2010, acting as a Community Leader in the Notre Dame Football community for the 2009 and 2010 seasons and a Featured Columnist in the Chicago Cubs community for the 2010 season. I later earned my Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management from Barry University in 2011 and subsequently went to work for the Carolina Mudcats and Baseball Info Solutions as a MLB Video Scout. Unfortunately, I do not intend to return to Bleacher Report in the near future.

    Hi Matt,

As a Cub fan, I would be interested in your opinon of an article I just wrote of what the Cubs need to do to win at Wrigley Field. I don't think they know how to do that.

Check it out when you have a chance and let me know your thoughts. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I've spent the past several weeks adding to a piece dedicated to one of the father's of college football, Knute Rocke. In time for his dedication tomorrow at Notre Dame Stadium, I present to you the true and inspiring story of the most renown coach in the game:

Don't be shy, and as always, feedback is appreciated.

Jimmy Clausen has been the best quarterback in the past 240 minutes of college football. Will he be invited to New York this year, or will the Tebow's of the nation get their pre-reserved seats?

    Don't be shy.

Hey, this is a article that I'm particularly proud of, and I think you will enjoy it. It looks at some of the strangest injuries to ever occur in baseball history, there certainly are some strange ones.

As always any feedback/support would be appreciate, and would like to get this article around BR, so if you could tell a friend who might tell a friend. Then that would be really appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

I haven't pimped an article in awhile, but the silence is deafening, so here I go again.

I think that the Strasburg negotiations warrant a look at something that MLB should have adopted a long time ago. I'd like to know if you agree.
