I've been a sports enthusiast all my life, starting with football, baseball, then working my way up. Sadly, I couldn't hit a curve, blew too many open field tackles, and could not hit a jump shot to save my life, so I wisely decided to become an observer. Best decision I ever made.
I was fascinated by the written word for my entire childhood, all the while suffering through the Lions' eternal rebuilding process (which I'm sure had something to do with my fascination with fantasy and tragedy to this day). I studied to be a writer of some sort in college, and have eventually made my way to the shores of Bleacher Report.
