Dean's Bio

Greetings from a former B/R intern. Glad you've taken the time to read up on me, unless you're trying to stalk me. Then it's not really cool, but I'm glad you're a fan.

I grew up in Michigan, which makes my sports allegiances easy to figure. Tigers, check. Red Wings, check. Pistons, check. Lions, reluctant check. Despite their best efforts to make the Lions fan extinct, I'm still hanging on, waiting for that magical .500 season.

On that note, I am currently working as the "Voice of the Lions" on NFLTouchdown.com, thanks in large part to Bleacher Report (where I was discovered). Now I get to do what I've always wanted to do: write about the Lions and, hopefully, have some people read it.

If you like what you've read, head down to http://www.nfltouchdown.com/category/detroit-lions/ and leave me a comment. I'd love to hear what you have to say, and you'll make me look good, too.

Also, if you get the chance, check out the August 24th edition of The Knee Jerks with Greg Eno and Big Al Beaton, where Michael Schottey and I talk Lions. Then check out the rest of them, and tune in every Monday, because those guys are awesome. You can find the show at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/TheKneeJerks.
