About

I like football. A lot, so writing about football seemed like a good career choice.

But that's not where I started. My trek into the writing wilderness began at The Picton Gazette, Canada's oldest community newspaper. There I spent many, many hours covering council meetings, and I once chased an escaped monkey (no, that really happened).

Then the football fun started. I spent five years at theScore.com in several positions, primarily serving as the NFL features writer and editor. Aside from covering all things NFC West now for Bleacher Report, I also write for This Given Sunday and Sportable.

See, I really like football, and you just made it to the end of a football writer's bio. Let's be friends.

Cam Newton is one of the lowest paid QBs and needs to get a raise. Canada's oldest community newspaper. Maybe you should go back to your old job.

There is no competition in Carolina. Two different backs with two different assignments. You will see in the seasonal play.

I wish I could take back my "read" of your article.

I find your articles to be both shallow AND ignorant. Are you sure you're not supposed to be writing about Canadian football? Anywho, you fit right in at Bleacher Reports. I'm tempted to click your "become a fan" link just to be the first to do so and never miss out on your hilarious work. Maybe I will when I get drunk, my pride is stopping me at the moment.

Another week reading he Power Rankings, and another week I question how your existence as a writer for bleacher report came to be. Don't know how many hands you had to shake or penises you had to suck to get this job with no knowledge about the game whatsoever. Please resign as soon as you can, give back our green-card, and go back to Canada. Canadian Football seems right up your ally.

Sean, never heard of you or read anything by you. I just got done reading your article on Nikita Whitlock. I really enjoyed it because it had some depth. Everything today is just quick quotes and sound bites(see the current version of ESPN). I felt like i got to know this guy a bit through your article which i liked. Oh, and i am not a Giants fan. I haven't read anything else but judging by the comments below you also aren't afraid to actually express an opinion. Folks don't like that apparently. Have you got back to Richard Bridges to see if he has anymore "lesson's" for you? The Falcons....eh Richard?
