I was born and raised in St. Louis. The Blues and Cardinals hold special places in my heart that will never be replaced, especially that of the Blues. I have played many sports throughout my grade school and high school years (my favorite being ice hockey). More than 15 years of playing has started and fueled my passion for sports which has lead me to where I am today.

I am a sophomore at Marquette University studying journalism, with a minor in marketing, and I am a brother of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

I am currently the beat reporter for women's basketball for the Marquette Tribune, but I have worked on the news desk and the copy desk. I am a Featured Columnist for Bleacher Report, and also created a sports blog with fellow writers Ryan Bothmann and Andrew Hermann before jumping ship to Bleacher Report.

My life goal is to be writing for the NHL and eventually work in the front office for the St. Louis Blues. Hockey has always been the center of my life and I wish to continue to have the passion I had for playing show in my writing.

Jacob, I am the Editor for Bleedin' Blue, a St. Louis Blues news site. I was curious if you would be interested in sharing one another's work. We have a feature called "The Hub" in which we feature content from other sites. I would be happy to share your work if you are willing to share mine on your team stream. Thank you!

    Hey Jacob,

Here's my take on MLB realignment and what should be done. It's radical, and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks.
