I grew up in the South watching 2 teams play every summer on TV. The Atlanta Braves and the Chicago Cubs were the only options. I quickly developed a great disliking towards the Braves, and became an avid Cub fan, who has lived and died with the Northsiders since the 1989 playoff push.

Welcome Emmett. I am the community leader for the Cubs page. I've read your two Cubs articles and am encouraged. Keep up the good work and if you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to reach out to me (Bob Warja).
I am engaging my writers on some ideas of how we can make this community even better. What I'd like to do is a couple things. 1) develop an idea for a group article. For example, I was thinking we could do a 'who wins each MLB division, wild card, playoff series & world series? Perhaps we could have one writer each take a division they want to work on. Would I have your support?
Also, I've got the go-ahead to start up a contest with the winner receiving one of those cool BR shirts. I'd be interested in your ideas on a possible Cubs-related contest.
Finally, I'll be searching the site each day for articles that don't belong on the Cubs site (ones that are tagged inappropriately). Your help in pointing these out to me is appreciated. I'd also like to know your e-mail address if you don't mind. Keep up the great work! If you know of any other Cubs fans who want to join BR, please recruit them here! Thanks!

Hey Emmett,
I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
