My appearance as a contributor on Bleacher Report is a direct result of the economic crisis that is currently affecting this country. I was downsized from my job last October after 13 years. It was at that time that I realized that I was so consumed with making a living for my family, that I really did not understand how miserable I was at that job. Being able to write about sports and most importantly FOOTBALL is a dream come true because I believe that sports help camouflage the immediate problems that this country faces. If I'm able to help people take a few minutes out of their day to think about other things besides their own personal burdens, then this makes it all worthwhile. To me, writing on Bleacher Report has truly been a blessing that I do not take for granted. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day!
