Hey man, I have a couple of questions.

I was wondering if B/R assigns you all a topic to write an article on, or if writers could choose their own topics to write an article on.

The reason I'm asking is that I have an idea for an article. I think it would be a great article that would get lots of feedback, and I think you would be a great fit for the person to write it
    .
My idea is an article about the possiblity of the NFL Rookie Offensive Player of the Year and the NFL Rookie Defensive Player of the Year going to two former Alabama players, in Trent Richardson and Courtney Upshaw. It may seem far fetched but it is a possibility.

I'd love to hear what you think.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for answering my questions Sanjay. I really appreciate it!

Yes Jimmy nailed my Ivory question but he also suggests that Smart sticks around untill Saban retires and takes the reins as he doesn't see Saban coaching past 65. Your thoughts on that?

Also I slightly disagree on your stance on Nkemdiche but we will see. I think we have a better shot at landing Adams because he's the prototypical 3-4 DT where with Nkemdiches size and athleticism he moves around as a Jack 'backer. I think we saw how this went with Jadaveon Clowney. Thoughts?

Hey Sanjay I have a few requests of things I'd like updates, discussion, etc on if you or your fellow writers could find time to write. Thanks

    1. With all the DL talent the Tide just signed whats going to happen to Brandon Ivory?
    2. Is this Kirby Smarts last year as our DC and if so who will replace him?
    3. Recruiting 2013 What are the chances we land Robert Nkemdiche and Montravius Adams?

I appreciate and enjoy your columns.

Sanjay, good article and great topic! You beat me to this one, I already had it written in my head. I will add this to it. Alabama fans..do remember that Nick Saban has more BCS Championships than any SCHOOL in the land...including Alabama. How does that help the argument? And some of those Bear Championships were not against #1 or #2 teams, all of Saban's were against #1 or #2 teams.

Darby would be a nice addition to the secondary. I hope Howard considers FSU as well, There have been several analysts that seem to think he will, but only he knows the answer to that. He seems to have had a blast when he visited. I am also hoping Clemons decides on FSU as well.

So, I read over on Rivals.com that Ronald Darby recently visited FSU and came away with very positive things to say, i was curious if you had any insight. I know he recently decommitted from ND, do you know if there is any chance of him considering FSU?
