Vikram Rao was born and raised in San Diego, CA and is a seriously dedicated San Diego Chargers fan. His first clear sports memory is of the San Francisco 49ers emphatic 49-26 win over his beloved Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX. He had just turned 6 at the time. One of his more notable sports "accomplishments" came following the Chargers 24-21 loss in the 2007 divisional round playoffs; the stress caused by the lost weighed so heavily on his conscience that he actually became physically ill. A week later when he finally paid a visit to his doctor, the Chargers' loss was confirmed as a sizable cause of the illness. Vikram is currently a college student on the east coast but hasn't lost his love for the Chargers, or for the San Diego Padres.
