About

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA. I am a avid fan of most all sports. Most I enjoy College and Pro Football, which Georgia Bulldogs are my passion. Yes, they break my heart very often but that is the true beauty of being a fan......even with pain and heart ache, I always find myself coming back for more. But nonetheless, The Braves, Falcons (post Vick), Bulldogs, Hawks, Thrashers, and Force are all my teams. Just wanting on that MLS team to make it to Atlanta.

Jesus Christ is my savior and what essentially drives me..........

Favorite sports movie quote of all time ~ " You mean to tell me that Jesus Christ couldn't hit a curve ball !!!" (Major Leagues)

I write for a hobby, and mostly to pass the time......I am heading out to the Middle East for a year, so everyone keep up the articles, it can get really boring out there sometimes.lol

I hope you know I've been supporting him and I called the Pettigrew pick. I thought they may go Tate instead of Williams but character concerns. I was surprised by Delmas and Levy although Delmas is a solid addition and a need. They have drafted players that fit needs, whether they start, fill a role, or develop ver the next few years, they are decent picks. I may have done different with Levy, only because he'd be available later. I hope irt's Duke Robinson, Lawrence Sidbury, Jamon Meredith, TJ Lang or a MLB prospect in the 4th. We'll see!

I'm still not sold on the whole thing. I thought the contract was too big but it matches Matt Ryan's more or less so that's ok. The deal they have with Curry was probably a better financial decision. I hope you know I stuck my neck out there around these parts and have tried to convince fans that he is the right choice. We do need a franchise QB and the brass like him, they played hard ball but ultimately his agent called their bluff I think. Makes sense.

It's all about the rest of the picks. I hope they trade the 20 and 33 down a few spots and pick up as many picks as possible. They have like 3 players left on the roster from teh draft years 2000-2006 I think. It's pathetic. Hopefully we can add at least 3 good players and some depth this year.

Yeah, Stafford has looked great in workouts. Harrington was the third overall pick in 2002, and I'm sure you weren't comparing him to a backwoods preacher prior to seeing he wasn't the second coming, to allude to your analogy. I hope, for Detroit's sake, that Stafford's game translates well to the NFL. A flop isn't a flop until it flops. Time will tell.

    Josh,
Theres a light at the end of every tunnel..for the steroid scandal in baseball that light is Ken Griffey Jr. One of the few greats whose done it the right way. Let me know what you think.
