Joshua's Bio

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA. I am a avid fan of most all sports. Most I enjoy College and Pro Football, which Georgia Bulldogs are my passion. Yes, they break my heart very often but that is the true beauty of being a fan......even with pain and heart ache, I always find myself coming back for more. But nonetheless, The Braves, Falcons (post Vick), Bulldogs, Hawks, Thrashers, and Force are all my teams. Just wanting on that MLS team to make it to Atlanta.

Jesus Christ is my savior and what essentially drives me..........

Favorite sports movie quote of all time ~ " You mean to tell me that Jesus Christ couldn't hit a curve ball !!!" (Major Leagues)

I write for a hobby, and mostly to pass the time......I am heading out to the Middle East for a year, so everyone keep up the articles, it can get really boring out there sometimes.lol

  1. Hey check out some thoughts I have after a week of fall practice. Thanks

  2. Check out my in depth analysis and predictions of Georgia's schedule next season:

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/196398-2009-georgia-football-analysis-and-predictions/page/3

  3. Quick question. Can you only embed videos on slide shows?

  4. I hope you know I've been supporting him and I called the Pettigrew pick. I thought they may go Tate instead of Williams but character concerns. I was surprised by Delmas and Levy although Delmas is a solid addition and a need. They have drafted players that fit needs, whether they start, fill a role, or develop ver the next few years, they are decent picks. I may have done different with Levy, only because he'd be available later. I hope irt's Duke Robinson, Lawrence Sidbury, Jamon Meredith, TJ Lang or a MLB prospect in the 4th. We'll see!

  5. I'm still not sold on the whole thing. I thought the contract was too big but it matches Matt Ryan's more or less so that's ok. The deal they have with Curry was probably a better financial decision. I hope you know I stuck my neck out there around these parts and have tried to convince fans that he is the right choice. We do need a franchise QB and the brass like him, they played hard ball but ultimately his agent called their bluff I think. Makes sense.

It's all about the rest of the picks. I hope they trade the 20 and 33 down a few spots and pick up as many picks as possible. They have like 3 players left on the roster from teh draft years 2000-2006 I think. It's pathetic. Hopefully we can add at least 3 good players and some depth this year.

  6. Yeah, Stafford has looked great in workouts. Harrington was the third overall pick in 2002, and I'm sure you weren't comparing him to a backwoods preacher prior to seeing he wasn't the second coming, to allude to your analogy. I hope, for Detroit's sake, that Stafford's game translates well to the NFL. A flop isn't a flop until it flops. Time will tell.

  7. 148 days until oklahoma state!

  8. Josh,
Theres a light at the end of every tunnel..for the steroid scandal in baseball that light is Ken Griffey Jr. One of the few greats whose done it the right way. Let me know what you think.

  9. I'm starting to think we have Stafford and Ellerbe on the roster next year.

  10. It's been rumored but nothing more. If it happened it would be a draft dya thing most likely. I know they went to view Sanchez and said that Stafford had a flawless workout here in Detroit the other day. It could be a smoke screen. They also met with Brandon Pettigrew and BJ Raji, neither of which are likely to be available at 1 or 20. Mayhew also came out publicly, for the first time really, and said that the Lions would trade the 1 and 20 down if they get a decent offer. So yes It's possible, I don't know that it's likely but certainly possible. If Stafford had that good of a pro day then they may want him. It's tough to gauge what they are thinking. I figured Stafford and another pick would be more than enough for Cutler and the 12 but I've also heard Denver doesn't want to trade him and that the price would be higher and that they'd want a veteran QB in the deal. Cleveland seems more likely but that's tough to gauge too.

  11. Would you mind taking a look at my latest story and leaving me some feedback? I would appreciate it!

  12. Your Staff article has some minor errors, I corrected a few things on the first page but more minor errors were on the next slides and I don't have enough time to fix them. It's little stuff but makes it lose a star usually.

It all sounds more biased than factual. It could be re-worded I'm sure to sound more "professional" I guess. It was good though.

Read the last reply, you may appreciate it. I'm putting some serious effort into breaking down this kid. I'll let you know what i think when I'm done.

  14. Nice article about Staff.

I can't wait to watch him in the pros.

  15. that article about stafford was great, i'm sure you've already heard about the myth behind stafford going to detroit, but anyway, I wrote an article about how Kiffin and Bryce Brown are alike and how I can't stand their egos. It was hilarious how many Vol fans got on there and cussd me out telling me the article sucked and how Tennesee was going to be great next year. You should read some of the comments they're great. I just taunted them because they were being so serious about it (they didn't realize it was an OPINION article) haha
