Former Bleacher Report Quality Editing Manager
Quality editors provide the final edit on all content bound for B/R’s highest-visibility channels. Their edits are more intensive than copy edits, at times requiring wholesale changes and collaboration across teams to ensure each article delivers on the aforementioned quality standards.
By elevating standards on B/R’s highest-traffic locales, the quality editing team is striving to raise the bar on content site-wide, with the hope that their enhanced scrutiny on a fraction of articles is eventually the norm.
Just wanted to let you know I appreciate the tweaks you made to my "Blackout" article. Definitely see what you mean on the Tweets, and the way you adjusted the media looks nice.
Thanks for the further revisions on my Lance/EPO article! I saw them go in earlier today. Rest assured, I have re-opened the sticky on my computer desktop that reminds me to use Em dashes rather than commas mid-sentence. I had closed it in hopes that I finally broke the habit. Apparently not yet. :)
Thanks for the praise on the "Craftiest Players" article. I'm proud of it and hope it gets a little exposure.
Thanks for those edits on the Stern/Popovich, Matt. Appreciate it.
Thanks for cleaning up my article on the "poison pill" offer for Lin. It looks and reads a lot better now.
Thanks for the secondary edit, Matt.
I won't lie. At first, I was upset with the changes to my article because I felt it took away from my voice. After reading them thoroughly, they made a much better product. When I wrote the article (Weirdest endorsements), I couldn't find my flow. Excellent job sir.
Thanks for the edits, Matthew!
Thanks for the excellent edit. Really polished the statement.
