Just read your column on Bruce Pearl from December 23, where you seemingly add credence to the myth that Pearl was"blackballed for doing the right thing," referencing his allegations against Illinois in 1989.
I assume you are aware that NONE of the allegations Pearl made were found to be credible. Making false claims against a conference opponent as revenge for losing a recruiting battle should never be considered "doing the right thing." He is a pathological liar, and I am enjoying his public humiliation. Karma, indeed, is a bitch.
