I was born in Fort Bragg, NC, and lived in NC, Kentucky, Germany, California, and Virginia before moving to Buffalo in 1998. I’m a graduate of Canisius College (B.A. in digital media arts). Right now I live right outside Charlotte, NC.

In college I was a sports reporter for The Griffin, the campus newspaper, and covered everything from men's basketball to synchronized swimming. I've also written for websites like Hockey's Future, Bills Insider, Sabres Insider, and CollegeHoopsNet. Right now I run MAAC Monitor, a blog dedicated to covering the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

    Don't get to attend a ton of games...mainly watch on TV. I would have to say watching my Canisius Golden Griffins snap a 12-game losing streak to rival Niagara in January '08. Canisius only won six games that year but that by far was the biggest.
