A passionate sportswriter,Who supports Manchester United and lives football.I'm currently the Co-Community Leader in the World Football Community on Bleacher Report alongside the network's finest writer Andrew McNair.

Over the past five months or so,I've seen the EPL Section convert into Diversified World Football Community,I've come across some fine writers from Andrew to Simon to Gerry to Salomon to Jeff to Keith to Jon Naylor to Shyam and we continue to prosper and grow as a community.

Yeah, I have written a few features for Goal.com, 5 in total.. so all is well on that front.

In fact, I have re-published the stuff on B/R.. so, I'm not exactly neglecting this site in any way!

Yeah, but the problem is that I don't see it in the articles section anywhere.. it hasn't been updated over there.. I still see "Cesc Fabregas Can Win It For Spain".. even your "Best 11 of the Euros" doesn't seem to have appeared on the World Football Main Page - but on our profiles, everything seems to be there..

Hey Saalar,

I have another round-table idea : Which system is better `golden goal or penalties`
I figure with the long drawn out Euro matches and the Champs League final coming down to a slip ..it has some relevance.

I personally think penalties is a waste of 40 extra minutes as the teams close up shop 10 minutes or so to the end of regular time.

To see Italy lose to Korea with golden goal was very exciting but the Spain victory well.... judge for yourself.

Hey man, had a really crazy weekend and just got a chance to look at that article on Ronaldo. It was great read and all signs point to him staying in Manchester.
I am at a point where I am done hearing about what he might do because most of it is bull shit anyways. I think right now we are looking at a situation that is 50/50 and could go either way.
I hope we find out soon.

Hey Salaar,

There are two interesting developments in the Brazilian game.

1) Female referees. More honest decisions and better behaviour from players, respect and all that.
(One was in playboy...hubba hubba) The lines girls are interesting too.

2) A white spray to mark where the wall stands....after a few minutes it disappears. Walls can`t walk.
Ref carries it in his/her pocket.

Just thought maybe there could be around table on these ideas that are currently used in Brazilian football at all levels within the country. people could say if they think they are good or not and if they think other leagues would go for this sort of thing.

Realistically you're right, it's a long time off. The sooner Americans get into soccer however, the sooner a real market for US athletes will develop and the sooner we can legitimately compete...

That said, I'm fine just watching the rest of the world play the beautiful game for now =)

This is not a complaint, but an observation.

There seems to be a writer named Shadlee Rahman - who has 2 accounts here. Now, while I'm all for that, he seems to have re-published his articles a few days ago - including some things which happened 3 months back - and they appeared on the Arsenal page.

While I'm all for talented young writers to come and share their thoughts here on BR, this seems kind of absurd.

Hey Salaar, I've always wandered if we can do a round table on possibly the Best defenders in the world in our writer's opinions. We always give too much credit too the strikers, and I feel it all starts out with Defense, not only to win a tournament, but to win a simple game.

Hey Salaar,

I am definitely a huge fan of everything you've been doing with the Round Tables. I think this is really strengthening the FIFA Community on B/R by unifying the voices of our resident experts. The analysis in those articles is as good as any you'll find on major media networks like ESPN, once again proving that you guys who follow football obsessively are as qualified as anyone to write and comment about it.

As for the last Round Table: I'll weigh in on this one because even though I don't follow the Premiership or Champions League I do in fact adore both EuroCup and World Cup football (or as we like to say in the USA, Soccer). I like your Spain pick, they have looked truly dominant especially on the offensive end. I'm going to go with Netherlands however as they flat out embarrassed both Italy and France and that surely is a great sign.

Then again, they may very well cool down in the next round as they don't have a long standing football tradition/experience the way that some of the others in this tourney do...I suppose time will tell.

Hi Salaar,
Having been CL of the cricket section for a little while now, I'm looking for new ways to get people talking and build the community, hopefully making cricket one of the more popular sports on Bleacher Report.

With that in mind, I've decided to do a 'Round Table' column, based on Michael Whittenberg's examples in the NBA section. What this basically comprises of is making a collaborative article from many different writers about a particular subject.

The headline I want to use is:

'If you could have any player from another country in your national team, who would it be and why?'.

I want to get a global perspective and hopefully build a really good discussion.

If you want to take part, then please write 50-100 words answering that question and send it to bleacherrportcricket@gmail.com. I'll collate the quickest entrants and publish an article on BR.

First off, I loved your piece about what Bleacher Report gives you. It's been a true pleasure watching you develop as a writer since joining...we can't thank you enough for all of your wonderful contributions to date.

The FIFA section has one Community Leader because Andrew McNair seems to be able to handle the load so far. Usually we wait until the Community Leader feels overwhelmed before appointing a second, and I just haven't seen that out of Andrew yet.

Well Dunfermline aren't the poorest of sides. All depends what you want haha...more money and games at dundee and Queen of the South or less money and Ibrox and Celtic Park.

I'll give ya dogs abuse at Ibrox though lol :P

Salaar that's great to hear. Dunfermline were recently relegated from the SPL and have one of the best squads in the first division. They had about a 10 year spell in the the top flight and even made it to the cup final a few years back.

They aren'e going up this year however but are sitting mid table.

St Mirren are an SPL side and will be staying up this season. They play in Paisley which joins onto Glasgow and the airport. They are a mediocre SPL side but Rangers have a habit of buying their best players which msut be a bonus for players their.

Hey Salaar,

I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.

Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

In response to your question about uploading pics:

We're working on creating a system to allow users to upload their own images...but we aren't quite there yet. In the meantime, we'll have to make-do with what's in the library. Thanks very much for bearing with us.
