I just finished up the B/R writing internship this past summer and am now a Tampa Bay Buccaneers Featured Columnist.
I've lived in Orlando my entire life so I'm a huge Orlando Magic/Tampa Bay Rays/Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. My family is from Ohio so I have strong ties to the Ohio State Buckeyes. I fly up to Columbus for two football games every year—and usually a couple Basketball games as well.
Hey buddy, I just wanted to thank you for the "fan" as I noticed I now have 3 fans but still have yet to write an article. I appreciate all of your help and hope things are going well for you. I know you are busy, but try to keep in touch if you can. I said that my first article or "try-out" for B/R would be after the Buckeyes' first loss so I will be submitting after this weeks games. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I know I can be a decent writer but hope to be really good...well...like you. Again, I appreciate your help and your confidence in me. I'm going to check out a few of your Bucs articles to see how your Tampa transition is going. As always, good luck...and Go Bucks!
Hey, would you be able to send your e mail to email@example.com? I want to get the B/R community leaders on a mailing list for a press release on behalf of Sports Media 101.
Eddie it doesn't look like your comment went through on my Ohio State article. There might have been a glitch. If you would like me to see the comment and respond please re-post it to the article.
Eddie, even though I have not yet written an article yet, I have gotten 2 fans. I know that 2 fans is not a lot but I never figured to have any until I started writing articles. I will be submitting my application soon to become a B/R writer. I have tried twice before but they ask for my article to be between 250-500 words. My first try had nearly 1,300 words...my 2nd try had 1,400 words. Unfortunately, I could not edit them to be within the 250-500 word limit. I plan on trying again but do not want to try without some tips from you. Obviously, I have what it takes, I just am having trouble "not writing a novel". Any suggestions on any subject would help. I hope you are doing well and hope to hear from you soon. Good luck, brother...My prediction on the Buckeye/Hurricane game is TOSU 30, Miami 17. I hope I am right. I think that Miami will have trouble stopping the combination of Jordan Hall and Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde. Talk to you soon, I hope. Good luck again, my brother...take care.

Well...if congratulations are in order, then I commend you on the new job. I really hope that you enjoy it. Before I say anything else...I want to comment on the T. Pryor supplemental draft situation: They should have allowed him to enter the draft but made some kind of punishment go along with it. He isn't going to play for the first 5 games anyway...Anyway...I'd love for you to keep in touch with me on a personal level if need be. Feel free to email me, email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. If you aren't going to be around much, who will back me up against these awful SEC fans? Haha. Really though...drop me a line here and there...I need some help from you, if you have the time. I want to start writing on B/R, and want to ask you a few questions. If you have the time, email me, please!!! Take care, bud...I'm sure you will be around. Again...good luck on the new job. I'm sure that you will do well. Take care, brother.
Regards and then some,
Hey Eddie, I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to your message. My ex-wife and 2 kids live right behind UCF at the end of McCullough Rd. I grew up in the Union Park area, went to Union Park Junior High, which is UP Middle School now, and went to Colonial High School. I'm originally from Dayton, OH, but moved here when I was 7. I'm 38 now. I have always kept close to OSU but drifted away from the Reds and everyone else. Yeah...I'm a die-hard Bucks fan when it comes to football. Do me a favor, if you don't mind....If you ever see me go "too far" with any of my comment, let me know. I trust your judgment. Haha. I'm out in Deltona now...all rednecks out here. Maybe one day we'll catch a Knights game or something. Take care and keep in touch, and as always Go Bucks!!!
A few things to keep in mind: free agent, free agency and tight end, not free-agent, free-agency and tight-end; you have to double check the spelling of names as it's Aqib Talib, not Aquib and Darrelle Revis, not Darrell; general manager isn't capitalized; and be careful with lineman vs. linemen. AK
Hey Eddie, just wanted to make sure you were checking your feedback as I keep noticing some recurring errors. Here's the latest, regarding the Shields piece--a few things to keep in mind: the possessive for Rays is Rays' (not Ray's) and the plural is Rays, so be careful not to mix those up as there were a number of issues with that throughout (and "The Reds could offer" not "Reds' could offer"); it's center fielder and home run, not center-fielder and home-run; be careful not to capitalize non-proper nouns such as catcher, majors and ace; we use the construction Triple-A as opposed to AAA; and it's 20-year-old, as opposed to 20 year old (20 years old is also correct). I also changed the headline for SEO purposes but feel free to overrule. Thanks as always and let me know if you have any questions. AK
