Al,
Thanks for adding me as a fav writer.
Perhaps we can discuss our opinions on the Terps' tumultous season so far.
Did you catch the article on yahoo about Gary Williams lack of recruiting skills?
It begins with the story of local high school standout Kendall Marshall, who I personally know, and his family.
His father Dennis was a mainstay at the Hylton Boys and Girls Club, where I worked for 5 years as the Recreation/Membership Director.
Kendall has signed to play for Roy Williams. Dennis pointed out that on his lone visit to Maryland, he and Kendall never met Gary Williams.
He, his wife, and Kendall were asked to wait in an assistant's office.
They spent 20 minutes tops on campus, never given a tour, or told of what is would like to be a Terrapin.
Some of this can be corrected.
Gary is old-school, and I think he is hurting his program by not changing with the times.
Kids are being sought after in elementary school. You can't scout top-tier talent when they are in high school.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the matter.
Btw: You have a new fan. :)

Hey Al, just a reminder that if you want to participate in this week's B/R NCAA Basketball Conference rankings, please leave a list (comments completely optional) either on my profile or email to nathanmedic2003[at]yahoo.com by 7 am tomorrow morning.
Like last week, you can rank up to ten, but you don't have to go all the way to 10 if you don't want to. Try to get to at least five though. ;-)
We had 11 last time and a few more have expressed interest, so I'm hoping to get it up to 15 this week. =)
Thanks in advance if you can participate this week!
