About

My name is Ryan Michael and I am a Senior Writer for Bleacher Report.

I've done some local work in radio broadcasting but have yet to follow up in that particular area of sports coverage. My true interests reside with sports writing due to the format and venue it provides to gain both exposure and appreciation.

To date, I have accumulated over 1/2 of a million article reads: 535,000+ and counting.

I am very proud to have served as the Indianapolis Colts' Community Leader from March 4th, 2009 to January 25th, 2010.

I had to step down from the position due to a busy schedule that prevented me from doing as much as I would have liked to have done had more time been available.

I was also humbled to have been offered a "Featured Columnist" position (twice) for covering the Indianapolis Colts; but had to reluctantly decline for the same reasons that prevented me from continuing my service as our team's Community Leader.

List of notable people I've interviewed:

Future Hall of Fame Wide Receiver: Terrell Owens
Pro Football Hall of Fame Quarterback: Fran Tarkenton
3X Pro Bowl Quarterback: Daunte Culpepper (three times)
Indianapolis Colts Wide Receiver: Pierre Garcon
Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver: Kevin Ogletree
Former Indianapolis Colts Wide Receiver: Roy Hall
Former Green Bay Packers Safety: Matt Bowen
Johnny Unitas' Grandson: J.C. Unitas
WWE Superstar: Evan "Air" Bourne
Elijah Burke "D'Angelo Dinero"
SiNN BoDHi "KiZarny"
Rory McAllister of "The Highlanders"

List of notable people I've tweeted with on Twitter:

Pro Football Hall of Fame Wide Receiver: Jerry Rice
NFL 2000's All-Decade Wide Receiver: Terrell Owens
NFL 2000's All-Decade Defensive Tackle: Warren Sapp
NFL 2000's All-Decade Kick Returner: Josh Cribbs
2009 NFL Offensive Player of the Year: Chris Johnson "CJ2K"
7X Pro Bowl Wide Receiver: Andre Reed
6X Pro Bowl Wide Receiver: Chad Ochocinco
3X Pro Bowl Running Back: Warrick Dunn
3X Pro Bowl Linebacker: Shawne Merriman
2X Pro Bowl Linebacker: Takeo Spikes
1X Pro Bowl Wide Receiver: Greg Jennings
1X Pro Bowl Offensive Tackle: Bryant McKinnie
2005 Pro Bowl Alternate Kicker: Jay Feely
Buffalo Bills Safety: George Wilson

My articles have also been featured on the USA Today, CBS Sports, Yahoo Buzz, AOL News, Forbes, MSG, and Google News websites.

If any upstart writers would like for me to read any of their work, please do not hesitate to post links on my bulliten board; although I do apologize as I might not be able to leave comments on everyone's articles.

Beyond that, I will continue to write articles that I hope most will find to be both interesting and enjoyable. Any thoughts, questions, comments, or suggestions can always be left right here on my bulletin board or sent to me through PM.

More professional inquiries can be directed to my email at: bleacherreporter@yahoo.com.

I rarely ever post comments, but I felt like I had to say something. I can't belive you are allowed to write for bleacher report(or any sports site for that matter). The fact that you can honestly think that Barry Sanders was overrated is beyond stupid. I mean really? Did you ever even watch this guy play? Do you know anything about football? You do know he played for the Lions, right? I didn't even read the article. All I read was the headline and it not only upset me, but it actually made me sick as well...
