Hey guys, my name is Blake Gibbs, and i love writing about sports. I am the Dallas Mavericks Community Leader here on Bleacherreport.com, so if you ever have any questions just let me know.

Sports have been my passion for as long as i can remember. I played sports, mainly football and basketball all through high school. I was offered some scholarships to play in college, but i suffered a pretty bad concussion my senior year of high school, so that idea went out the window.

I went to UNT and am currently at the American Broadcasting School getting into sports radio. Aside from bleacherreport.com, i also write for www.studyofsports.com, www.layupdrill.com, and The Sports Page Weekly (www.sportspagedallas.com) which a weekly sports newspaper in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I had the Cowboys weekly preview last year, which got me on 103.3 ESPN radio for the last segment of a show on saturday mornings, giving my imput and prediction on the next day's game. That lasted about 4 months.

Again, i love writing and talking about sports, and im happy to finally be starting my career.
