Unbelievable.

Played in goal b/c our keeper is injured (wrist) and sub keeper has swine flu. I now fully understand the frustration of having a goal awarded which didn't cross the line.

Ref was a f*cking twat, he didn't even see the "goal" b/c he turned his back, but still awarded it. Despite the fact I'd stopped it on the line.

That said, made some pretty decent saves. Also let in a couple I shouldn't have, but that's understandable given I haven't played in goal in over three years.

Still a long way to go, but we're getting there. Actually playing good football - if we'd had our proper keeper, we'd have drawn, if not won.

That is about all I learned besides, "Mluvte Anglicke?" = Do you speak English?

I'm really trying to learn more than the basics of football. I even went as far as to purchase a used copy of the FIFA game.

I have played probably 12 matches and have scored ONE goal... and that was via the other team hitting it into their own goal!!! Seriously. I am horrid at video games, but this is horrid x17.

How have you been? Your positive vibes must have given the Reds some good luck... I notice they are near the top :-)
