Big Bob, I think you have the right idea about the draft plans of the Bears now that they've traded for Brandon Marshall. I do think they go defense with the first pick, either a DE or a CB. As for Michael Bush, I think that would be an amazing signing. I'm surprised a guy that had 1,000 yards rushing in only 9 games would be willing to take a backup role behind a guy (Forte) who gets the lions share of the work. It is a sign that the Bears are not bringing back Marion Barber.

I've written a couple of times about the O-line and I don't see Webb as the short-term answer at LT. He's only 23, but I just didn't see development this past season. I strongly feel we need an upgrade there but I don't see anyone in the draft that would make it to #19 in the first round so yes, I am a fan of signing Bell. As for Nicks, I would love him but I'd rather put the free agent money to a WR like Vincent Jackson or even a DE like Cliff Avril. Thanks for writing.
