About

In 1992 I decided to expand my rabid addiction to sports to include writing from a fans perspective.

This hobby has been hugely rewarding as I have had the opportunity to meet many interesting people in the world of sports in addition to having some of my ramblings published in various periodicals.

There is nothing like some good old fashioned banter between passionate fans.

I have lived in New York, Florida and now Colorado and can share my objective perspective from both the larger and smaller sports markets.

Yet, the NFL is reporting that the Broncos are at a Cap Room: $13,802,521.00. Who do I believe, the NFL or the Denver Post?

Sigh...Looks like the Broncos have indeed blown their wad in free agency and gone through all 40 mil. They didn't get everyone the needed, but they did spend it all like you said they would, so drinks are on me. Let's figure out how to get together...

Could you send me a note at: cr.lane@earthlink.net I have thoughts on the Manning thing, and by the time I get vetted, it will probably be too late to run it. Thought I'd at least run it by you...

    Thank you!

Yes, TE is a skill position. However, it is also a part of the offensive line, and when you consider how the tight ends have been used primarily as blockers this year, the TE position has practically been like any other lineman position for the Broncos.

Brain, here's a suggestion on an article. Funny how Pryor was inflicted by Goodell with a suspension for collegiate misbehavings, as well as one adviser for the Colts getting the same treatment. What made Pete Carroll special and exempt from that?
