    I posted this in reply to your comment on my article (which was a joke, by the way), but I wanted to post it here as well. I don't want you to feel like I, as a Community Leader here especially, want less Raider fans, less Raider coverage, or to stop your participation in any way.

    I really don't want you to misunderstand where I'm coming from. The Raiders community is a huge part of Bleacher Report, and frankly (in my opinion) the site wouldn't be where it is today without them.

    Anyway, here's what I posted:

    I think you missed his (John's) point.

    I actually enjoy the Raider fans, otherwise I never would have written another Raider article...serious or not.

    He wasn't talking about getting rid of the Raider fans, he was talking about increasing the fan bases of other teams. At least that's how I took it.

    I want Bleacher Report to succeed, if that means 2 million Raider fans and 10 Patriots fans, then I'm all for it. But you have to admit, the more opinions we get on Bleacher Report, the better it will be.

    Point is- I have no problem with the Raiders, Raider fans, etc. It's fun to, as I said on my post on John's board, "poke you in the eye with a stick" every now and then because it usually gets an entertaining reaction.

    But to say I want less Raider fans on the site is exactly the opposite of how I feel.

    Sonny,

    I am a long time Raider fan and I didn't want to seem like I had a problem with anything. If it came off that way I want to apologize because that wasn't my goal. I just wanted to share the history with you and I got a little long winded telling the entire story, perhaps I should've written an article instead, my bad. I like your stuff and want you to continue to write and continue to support the Raiders. In a way we're still brothers in arms and both members of the world-wide Raider Nation. Glad to have you aboard.
