I'm a 21 year old college student with a passion for college football. Though I really only watch NCAA football and sometimes basketball, I have tremendous respect for all collegiate athletes - no matter what sport. Though it seems almost acceptable by today's standards, you'll never hear me booing at any college game as I have been a multi-sport athlete virtually my whole life and understand the dedication it takes to make it to that level. I think a lot of folks either forget or just do not realize how tough it can be to put in the hard work and long hours for your athletic program week in and week out while trying to simultaneously work hard and stay focused in school. (over)Paid professional athletes, on the other hand, earn the right to be booed and yelled at whenever possible. If you can't do your JOB then get off the field. 'Nuff said...
