I’m a featured columnist with Bleacher Report, focusing mainly on the Sacramento Kings and also the NBA as a whole. It’s a position I’ve held since March of 2012. For the last couple years I’ve been a credentialed media member with the Kings. I attend games and interview players and coaches postgame.
I first joined the Bleacher Report community in August of 2011. At that time, I started B/R’s sports editing internship. After completion of the internship, I joined Bleacher Report as a part-time copy editor in October of 2011, where I’ve worked ever since.
Starting in February of 2014, I joined the B/R writer evaluation team. As part of my duties, I evaluate the site’s writers and provide feedback on what they’re doing well and areas they could improve.
Prior to working for Bleacher Report, I was a reporter for The Union Democrat in Sonora, California. While there, I covered high school sports. I’ve also done some freelance work that was featured in the Stockton Record.
When I’m not writing for Bleacher Report, I’m posting articles at my own personal website: SimRisso.com.
A bit more about myself: I received a BA in History from Sonoma State University. While in college, I hosted a sports radio show on KSUN, which is the university’s radio station.
If you’d like to contact me, you can hit me up on Twitter @SimRisso or send me a message via my Bleacher Report profile.

Thanks, Sim. Completely slipped my mind that B/R prefers "short-handed" hyphenated.
