Matt you call yourself a "journalist". Journalists, are supposed to get their facts straight. The picture you posted of Monument Park in Yankee Stadium was after the 1976 renovation. Before renovation, when the monuments were on the field, there were only three of them and they were so far out in center field that I can not recall one single play where they interfered. You seem to believe that Micky Mouse home runs are good for the game? The most exciting play in baseball was the inside the park home run, and they could, and did, happen in the old Yankee Stadium. The quality of sports writing since the advent of the internet, why not do an article on that? Red Foley rest in peace.
