I see that you're a big fan of the Mavs, and I'd love if you could stop by a site that I work on and make the Mavs' pick for them in our fan interactive mock draft! Thanks!

College Football Predictions: 5 Favorites That Will Disappoint in 2012
    Ross Bentley(Senior Analyst) on August 9, 2012
By Like many teams on this list, Nebraska's lack of success in 2012 will be a result of their schedule more than anything else.
While they have talent, to expect a team who essentially cannot pass the ball with any sort of efficiency, and who has serious questions in their pass rush and secondary, to win nine or 10 games does not seem realistic.
Taylor Martinez needs to take huge steps forward now in his third year as a starter. He has not shown the ability to avoid costly mistakes and make big passes when they need him. Also, Nebraska's receiving core is especially lackluster, which won't help him out much.
Nebraska doesn't even have an easy slate in the non-conference, they could easily slip up against defending Conference USA champs Southern Mississippi in the opener, UCLA on the road, or defending Sun Belt champions Arkansas State.
Then in conference play, road games with Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Northwestern are added in with home meetings against Wisconsin and Michigan.
Despite being 16th in the preseason poll, 8-4 or 7-5 seems much more reasonable when you factor in all of the Cornhuskers shortcomings and their tough schedule.

    10-4 Finished was realistic.
    Nebraska 8 131 220 7 59.5 1608 7.3 12 201.0 (Passing Stats)

I still believe they still have a steep hill to climb to be back in the BCS picture. As an Nebraskan I like to see they play with some heart. Maybe not for 4 quarters but coming back from a deficit and winning in 3 of here games.
