Brett's Bio
I've been watching NBA basketball since the Orlando Magic's first NBA season (89-90). I was only 9 years old when they came in the league, and I feel ancient now at 27, having witnessed throngs of players coming into the league as rookies, aging, and then retiring.
I had a playing career myself when I was younger. I grew up playing AAU basketball and chose not to play for my high school because the coach was awful and cruel. But I did make my college team (Centre College) as a walk on (NCAA Div III) and had a great time playing there. Now I'm more or less relegated to the role of spectator, but my love of basketball remains strong. I order league pass every year and cram as many games into my life as possible.
I love to catch the out of market games, like Utah and New Orleans, watching the two most dynamic young guards in the game, Paul and Deron. My favorite team remains the hometown Magic, and I am more amazed at just how good Dwight Howard is every game. He reminds me of a cross between a young Shaq and Shawn Kemp.
I've been playing fantasy basketball religiously since the 99-00 season when I joined a league on NBA.COM. I frequently write for fantasybasketballcafe.com and post there under the name of Nene. It's a great community to exchange fantasy thoughts and discuss the league with knowledgeable posters.
GO MAGIC!

Brett I added the "Fantasy Basketball" tag to your latest article. Make sure you use it whenever you write fantasy basketball stuff so it ends up in our community (I'm the community leader). Keep up the good work.
