I'm a nostalgic sports fan. I love MMA, Boxing, the NFL and the NBA. I'm not a box score reader, and hate it when people compare athletes from different eras. I've no delusions about being even a decent sports writer, but I try not to write half-brained, over-opinionated articles either. I also need constant editing as my punctuation does not match my dictation.
I think that a majority of sports fans today are fairweather fans, and need to take the time to educate themselves on the sports we all claim to love. Too often we only look the stats on the player of the moment, or follow the opinions of one of the many talking heads on ESPN. I'm also a pop culture nut, and am finally old enough to admit I'm a total geek. Warhammer 40K or Shadowrun? That's like asking Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb?
I think Bleacher Report is fantastic, and that we are lucky it exists.
New York City pulled out the throne as King James arrived for his only visit of the season! Take a look at what I thought of the hype.

I've written like 3 pieces on Woodhead.

WEC 41 was one of the better cards I have seen in a while. My hat's off to Urijah Faber for a gutsy performance after breaking his hand. Hopefully Mike Brown will get some respect now.
Solid Piece on Mike Brown

I'm trying to get a few more articles up before I head off to Ft. Rucker for Warrant Officer Candidate School at the end of the month. 3 articles in 5 months is pretty terrible.
KenFlo or the Muscle Shark; who wins? Chime in on my latest article =)
