The Anatomy of Overreaction: Sizing up the Charlotte Bobcats based on PREseason
October 10, 2008
I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and I've been a basketball fan my entire life.
My father being a devout UNC alum, I was raised on the 90s Tar Heels teams that included Antawn Jamison, Vince Carter, Rasheed Wallace, Ed Cota and Jerry Stackhouse. I also became a fan of the Charlotte Hornets until their departure, and currently I am a fan of the Charlotte Bobcats, despite their blatant inability to form a team capable of even making the playoffs.
I am also a football fan, although to a lesser degree, and try to catch as many Carolina Panthers games as possible. The reason I prefer basketball to football is that it's easier to keep up with a basketball roster than a football roster, you can see the players faces on a basketball court, and ... I was raised in North Carolina. Basketball is THE sport.
I currently attend UNC Charlotte. I prefer Professional sports to amateur. My adopted teams are the Oakland Angels, Carolina Hurricanes and DC United.
