Next Stop, "Marathon Planet"!!!!
10/06/2008
I love sports (!), & am constantly inspired by athletes -- amateur & professional alike.
My real passion is running & writing about running, athletes, sports nutrition, & exercise psychology. I really enjoy motivating people to workout & improve their overall state of health & fitness, which is something I regularly make a point of doing via my running (http://seecoreyrun.blogspot.com) & healthy gourmet cooking (http://cookingwithcorey.blogspot.com) blogs & social networking groups like Twitter (ID is http://twitter.com/cyberpenguin) & BlogCatalog (I manage a popular running forum there, http://www.blogcatalog.com/group/runners-runners-everywhere).
My dream sports jobs would be professional sports writer/correspondent or Olympic commentator. ;-) And let's face it, who wouldn't want to be an Olympic athlete! (Speaking of which, I've yet to go to the Olympic games but am hoping to make that dream come true in 2012 for the London Summer Olympics.)
As for my personal running experience: I've been running since I was 5 years old, ran my first road race (a 5 miler) at age 6, ran high school track & field, & have been running on & off ever since. I'm currently training for a marathon.
I've also played various team sports -- soccer, basketball, tennis (HS team captain), volleyball, crew, sailing, competitive swimming, etc. You name it & I've probably either played it or watched it at some point in my life. ;-)
I'm interested in connecting with other like-minded individuals for social & business networking purposes, & can be connected either via email or my blogs. If you have any questions about running-related topics, or are seeking further information about content found on any of my sites, you're welcome to contact me. Thanks!
Hey buddy, take a look at this great interview I had with new Cooperstown minor league team owner, Tom Hickey. Thanks and feel free to comment.

Hey Cory,
The US Open Draw is released. I analyzed the Men's draw, in addition to the Top Ten players' form and recent performance, and made some projection in an unconventional way.
Do me a favor and check it out. Your support is oxygen for my life.
