D. is a former broadcaster, co-founder and President of a group of radio stations in the Pacific Northwest. He is also a former member of the ownership group and President of a minor league baseball franchise of the Chicago Cubs.

D. started his broadcasting career on the air in the Spokane and Seattle markets. D. was the "Voice" of a college football and basketball program during his time in broadcasting.

Between his time on the air as a broadcaster and being a station owner, D. was an executive for CBS/Columbia Records based in Los Angeles.

Although a University of Washington Husky fan, D. writes for the Boise State Home page as well as other articles mostly on college football but also writes on major and minor league baseball from time to time.

D. makes his home outside of the Boise area where he has lived for the past 10 years.

My ideal foursome in golf:

--Tiger Woods (with or without a bimbo or two)
--Jack Nicklaus (just so I can watch Tiger whip his ass)
--Peter Jacobsen (to provide needed humor because playing with Tiger (and bimbo) and Nicklaus we would need some humor!
-- and of course I would be the last member of the foursome!

I really liked your article about Boise State and the 2-for-1 offer from Nebraska. But I still don't understand how the economics of a 2-for-1 deal work. Nebraska would get 2 home games. Boise 1 home game. But is there also revenue sharing that normally occurs during this? Do you have any examples?
