I'm scheduled to graduate from the University of Kansas in May of 2012 with a Journalism & Mass Communications degree emphasizing strategic communications.

October marked the beginning of my Sports Writing Internship with Bleacher Report. I completed the internship in mid-December.

I spent my '11 summer interning at WSCR 670 The Score, the radio home for the Chicago White Sox.

I have volunteered at the University of Kansas' student-run radio station, 90.7 KJHK, since August of '09.

I'm a die-hard Chicago sports fan, and in recent years I've even began to root for the White Sox, as long as they're not playing the Cubs.

I'd take a Cubs World Series championship over anything sports related.
