About

A huge sports fan. If its on TV I'll watch it. Football is my first love but Rugby isn't far behind due to my lack of prowess on the football pitch compared to my skill on the rugby field. Have had the pleasure of working in the sports industry all my life as financial controller at a football club, director at a rugby club and finally as an agent having being accepted into the FIFA masters programme in my 40's.

As far as my teams I'm a local man through and through when it comes to sports so its Munster Rugby and Limerick FC (where Big Sam got his break back in the day). I've also always had a soft spot for Manchester United due to their Irish connection and have been a season ticket holder now for 25 years. Thankfully my job allows me to catch the odd reserve and youth team game so I can keeping touch with things behind the scenes.

I love a good descussion and the bit of banter with rival fans.

Got some abuse and inappropriate comments so I was advised to take it down, which made sense I guess, it might not have been my very best article. Thanks for being the one measured and polite commenter. I saw you comment on my article on Vela too, thanks for the positive input, I appreciate it.
