Sean sorry to see you move on. Hope to see you still posting occasionally. COYS!
Are you officially back? Or is that article a one-off? Good job with it as always.
Hey now, there's still two good weekends left before this month is done, don't give it up so easily! If you don't take a run at it, then its pretty much as good as mine: Lindsey only wrote one article, on the Arsenal v. Tottenham derby, and I know there's no way on earth that Wesley is beating me again lol.
No hurry mate, I'm not going to publish until tomorrow night. 999 can't join us this week and True Blue is done with B/R. He finally had enough of the politics and BS.
Hey mate, My emails playing up and I don't know if you've sent me your roundtable answers for this week. If you have can you resend them?
Ya its a shame all these FIFA articles won't help me win that Spurs #1 Top Writer badge. If only I could transfer those 13,000 reads to this month...
Actually, when I first started writing, I had earned the #1 Top Writer badge for Tottenham, #3 for Barca, #2 for Real, #3 for Juve, and #3 for Milan. Unfortunately, I had earned them before the "5 articles rule" had been put into effect, and so they were all retroactively removed when the point system was introduced. Sad story...
But don't worry...I may not win the Spurs badge this month, but I sure won't lose it to you again. I'm just waiting for you to make the first move...hahaha.
Honestly, I never expected the series to take off the way it has. I just needed an idea for a Tottenham article, and then when that took off like crazy, I decided id do one for my second favorite team on FIFA, Real Madrid. From there, requests just started pouring in and the reads kept on coming in...crazy how these things work out sometimes.
There actually was an article done by one of the ex-Arsenal FCs (Mohammed Eldin Masri is his name I think) comparing FIFA 12's gameplay with PES 2012. He's gotten about 25k reads on it.
Not to rub salt in your wounds or anything...but that could've been you. Haha :p
Sean,
The video didn't show up when I edited your article, so I wasn't aware that is where the quotes were coming from. You should probably say something like, "In the video above, Capello says..." when introducing the quotes though.
In case you hadn't seen it already, my end of the bet has been fulfilled.
