About

I am a married father of....

I wrote a newsletter in college and having been writing about sports since 2002. I have written for local newspapers covering high school sports and Northwestern University. I have also written for many websites covering high school sports, the Chicago Bulls and College Basketball.

I have been sports fan since I was in the womb (probably). I have been strongly influenced by a family of sports fans. My grandfather had Chicago Bears and Black Hawks season tickets when I was very little and my father Bulls Seasons tickets until I was in high school. My favorite sports are College Basketball and the NFL. I am a die hard fan of many teams led by Arizona Basketball, the White Sox and San Diego Chargers. I also love tennis.

    Alan,
You and I fell so far down the rankings. We were in the Top 100 or i your case right by it and now we fell so low. So many reads were taken away. I took this up with someone already. This has got to be fixed. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem.

Max Baer wasn't jewish. Read the book "When Boxing Was a Jewish Sport" and it talks about it. The greatest Jewish boxer of all time was Benny Leonard. He was listed at #8 on Ring Magazine's 80 Best Fighters of the Last 80 Years. Thats the same list Barney Ross was listed #21 as you mentioned in your list.
