Born and Raised a Raiders and Athletics fan in the bay area. Die hard Raiders fan who has always loved the Raiders . Feel lucky to have grown up with The Raiders , Mr. Davis , the Athletics and the late Charlie O Finley and Bill King. Enjoyed coaches John Madden, Tom Flores, Dick Williams, Billy Martin and Tony LaRussa .Willie Mays of the Giants was my first sports hero. Darlye Lamonica was my first Raider hero and for the A's it was Reggie Jackson. Rickey Henderson is my favorite baseball player followed by Willie Mays and then Reggie Jackson. Really enjoy the NHL . Flyers are a favorite from my childhood but now I am now a Sharks fan.
The greatest sports achievment I have been fortunate to see live was Rickey Henderson's all time stolen base record breaking steal in Oakland. Just some of the great sports memories that continue to grow while living in the bay area.
