Hayes's Bio

I am a Senior at Kansas State University majoring in Milling Science/Cereal Chemistry. I've been a K-State fan my entire life despite being a Texan by birth. I was always an Oilers fan growing up, but refused to follow them to Tennessee. When the Texans came to Houston, needless to say I was excited. I follow the Texans as much as I can but sadly, we don't get a whole lot of their games up here in Manhattan...

One thing I'm never short on material for is the Wildcats. I'm at every home game and try to make a road game here and there (especially at KU). Manhattan is a truly unique environment for college football and basketball, and if you ever have a chance to come and experience gameday in Aggieville and around town, don't pass it up!

I've always enjoyed writing, and now I can write about things I like - sports! I apologize in advance if I defend my statements/articles like a rabid dog, but I believe what I say and don't say it if I don't - and there's not a lot of people that follow or know more about K-State sports than I do, so I'll take all comers. Also, you'll have to excuse me if I rag on KU a little bit, but I really don't like their teams, school, or fans - sorry, that's just the way I am. Rock chalk chickenhawk...

I hope you enjoy what I write, I enjoy writing it! And remember: Every Man a Wildcat!
