About

I have been a tennis fan for many years. I follow many sports but tennis is my passion. I wish that more kids could get involved in the sport but most cities don't have a parks and recreation program that advocates tennis. I speak up on behalf of tennis fans here in the US and I have had the pleasure of attending Master Series events and wish others could experience tennis live at least once in their lives.

We witnessed an absolutely eventful US Open this time, dotted with numerous incidents. Here's a pictorial compilation of all those moments in the singles draw which stood out and caught our attention during those 15 days.

And yeah, is strange that they are both missing from their usual warm-ups...guess it makes the anticipation of wimbledon even greater! I really hope rafa is recovered in time...would be weird if he couldn't defend and be a massive disappointment to all his fans. But, like you, I'm sure he is gonna be fine. He's had the knee problems a long time. Oh well, guess we'll find out soon enough. Tennis is a funny ol' sport anyway - just look at the FO - so anything could happen anyway. I am hoping Feddy reclaims his crown this year...the crown that is rightfully his :p (Sorry! Couldn't resist saying that!!)

Hi Cindy, nice to hear from you. Hope you are well. Yes - my bio makes no mistake in marking me as a Federer Fanatic! I was so happy with result on Sunday and thought it was lovely how most Rafa fans wanted him to win too. I can't wait for Wimby - gonna try and go this year - v exciting! Am sure I will attempt to write a Wimby piece if time permits - after all, it is the best GS (imo!!) :-)
