About Mark »

I have worked in television production for more than 25 years. This includes a stint from 1992 through 1998 working in broadcast sports television on a local and network level. I was a sports reporter and anchor with the NBC affiliate in Huntsville, Alabama. I then went to Dallas, Texas where I worked on sports shows, including Dallas Cowboys players shows for Michael Irvin and Darryl Johnston. For the last eight years I have enjoyed training at Richard Lord's boxing gym in Austin, Texas where I have developed a deep interest in boxing. I have become friends with (and sparred with) former super featherweight champion Jesus Chavez. This is why I will be focusing the majority of my posts on the sport of boxing.
