Dirk has yet to fill out a bio.
Hey Dirk, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading your articles. A ton of the stuff on Bleacher Report is repetitive and gimmicky to generate clicks, but your stories are always interesting and provide good insight into baseball's more interesting aspects. I hope you have a lot more material that you plan on writing about, as I look forward to reading it.
Don't listen to Esmil, at least you had the talent to make the MLB.
Dirk, you talentless scum! You sit there by your computer and write all these articles claiming you know everything yet your career in the league shows otherwise. It is all your fault JP was forced out of toronto (not that I'm complaining because, you know... he sucks" I just wanted to say that you suck and I dislike you.
Dirk, just read your article about a career ending injury. I suffered one that ended my NFL career. A spinal fusion. It was my second back surgery, the first one coming in my rookie year when I was a third round pick of the NY Giants and was expected to come in and start at Left Tackle for them. I too suffered the substance abuse issues, depression, isolation, all of it. Your article was a relief to read. Since that career ending injury(Had the fusion in '06), this was the first time I felt like I was reading my story and someone REALLY understood what it was like. Thank you so much for being open and honest with your writing. You just lightened my burden, and I am incredibly grateful to you for that.
Hey Dirk, i really like your insightful articles and your name happens to be the same as my favorite athlete
Hey Dirk, read your article on racial divide in MLB clubhouses, I commented on it. I know there are lots of replies, but if you have any extra time I would greatly appreciate if you took a quick peruse of my comment and let me know what you think. Thanks!
Also, just realized that you've been writing some very intriguing articles lately. I didn't realize that I had actually read all of them until I looked up at your latest articles written, keep up the good work!
I remember you !! You were a former pitcher for the BlueJays !! Big fan of your writing !!
Sir, I googled Dirk Hayhurst.Yyou sound like an interesting person. Kinda like a Jim Morris only younger. Most all young baseball fans grow up wanting to play in the bigs. I hope you are able to pull off what most of us dream about. Good luck on your journey sir.
