About George »

Born and raised in Ottawa from Spanish parents, I have the unique position of being a soccer player and a hockey fan. My parents were not used to the cold harsh Ottawa winters, so I never got the chance to learn how to skate, but come spring, I'd be outside kicking a soccer ball around. I've been in the high-tech industry for over 10 years now and also have the privilege of working part-time on a local radio station.

The 1987 Canada Cup was an amazing time to be a Canadian hockey fan.
Most Memorable Game Attended

We drove to Montreal during the Montreal Expos aborted run to the ( eventually cancelled ) World Series. We watched a memorable weekend series against the Phillies with 60000 other rabid Expos fans.
Most Unbreakable Sports Record

It has to be Brett Favre's consecutive game appearances streak ...
Ruth or Mays?

Mays, definitely Mays.
Unitas or Montana?

GO JOE!!
Jordan or Russell?

Be like Mike.
Gretzky or Orr?

Both were amazing but I think Gretzky's done more for the game even after he left it.
Pele or Maradona?

Pele ... hands down ... Pele was a magician and an honest, decent person.
Federer or Sampras?

Federer, the man is a machine.
Tiger or Nicklaus?

Either one on top of their game would be a sure bet, but I'll take Tiger in a photo finish.
Petty or Earnhardt?
