Born just outside of Detroit, Michigan... As a kid, I was fortunate to be eight years old when the Tigers won the world series, which created a life long love for the Tigers with childhood heroes Al Kaline, Denny McLain, Bill Freehan, and Willie Horton. Not only was I a Tiger's fan, but also a baseball fan. Later, baseball would be my game of choice, playing through college and even in beyond. My family and I still follow the Tigers and try to make a least one game a year at different venues.
Just prior to enrolling into the 6th grade, my family returned to my parents roots and moved back southern West Virginia. In the early 70s's Bobby Bowden created a new passion for WVU football, which started my following of the program. After the Cigneitti years downfall, an unknown assistant from Michigan took over the reigns and history was changed with the house the Nehlen built. Being a college student in the late 70's-early 80's brought a new passion for WVU football and basketball... But obviously, it was the mid 2000's that brought national attention to the program that I so love. And the love continues with Huggins and Stewart at the reigns... Let's Go Mountaineers!
