About

My name is Matthew Buening, and I'm originally from the Emerald City (Seattle) but currently living in Pullman, WA attending Washington State University.

After living in Central America for a bit after high school, I became addicted to world football or soccer. The teams I support are FC Bayern Munich. FC Barcelona, and of course the Seattle Sounders FC. I am also a supporter of the United States National Team (both men and women's) and the German National Team.

There are lots of teams that I really like and admire and support to some extent so long as they are not playing Bayern.

Aside from soccer, I am also a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners.

When I'm not slammed with school work or other activities, I like to write about FC Bayern Munich and the German National Team. You can find my ramblings on a weekly article on FC Bayern Central here.

Matt Freddy Montero is red HOT!!!

He is outscoring Jackson and if it wasn't for Adrian Ramos he would be almost assured a place as the sub deeplying foward for Colombia.

Very interesting take, and I agree with the excessive "I came to play under Pep" crap. Hopefully it all goes well for him, he is an amazing talent and there is no reason to leave Bayern (Except for Money I guess) in my eyes.

You really think Goetze's only in it for the short haul with Bayern? Wasn't he a childhood Bayern fan?

I think his cold demeanour could be down to the fact that he doesn't want to be too insensitive to BVB, but I haven't really seen his press conferences I suppose. What has he been like?

Like 50/50 the team needs a backup deep lying foward; along with the DM that starts the plays the position is crucial. I personally don't want any forced tactical changes in the team when we play the WC.

It basically depends if Teo implodes or not he already has a complaint filed by Cruz Azul to FIFA that might stop him from playing, if Teo is unavailable and Fredy keeps scoring he will probably get a shot then it all depends on how he does with the NT. The big plus is that the fowards on the team right now (although most of them classic all around players) are strikers.

If Freddy makes it he will probably be Teo's backup like Jackson is backup for Falcao.

Hey Matt, I was wondering, would you be able to visit my blog, I write about the premier league international foobtall(Germany) and sometimes the bundesliga. Also I write about TTming, which is basically sending letters to major athletes for autographs. I have not put it up yet, but I did get a lot of Bayern Munich autographs. I am basically starting up so every bit of advise and every view matters. If you could drop a word or two of advise this is the link

thanks for reading it and giving advise. And best wishes

Matt!!!!! Freddy Montero scored a hat trick. Teofilo gets in trouble and suddenly every colombian deep lying foward is trying to take him down hehehehe. Adrian Ramos also had a monster start.

Ya I've known about him calling himself that. It's perfect if your speaking German, but I always find it uncomfortable to switch pronunciations mid-sentence, which is why I was looking for a catchy English alternative.

Pull another 94 WC?? :( The problem is that there are no peak replacements, Mac could keep playing but his level will probably drop, Quintero is too young and can't keep the ball that well. Harrison from Millonarios knows most of the team well, is the right age and has mobility but he probably isn't good enough.

Guarin maybe but sometimes Falca is less selfish than he is so. It's tough.
