A 12-year NFL veteran of the NFL, playing for 8 years with the Detroit Lions, 3 years with the Kansas City Chiefs and one year with the San Francisco 49ers...He was drafted in the 1st round of the 1994 NFL Draft (21st overall)...He is the 39th all-time leading receiver in the history of the NFL with 624 receptions for 8,719 yards and 43 touchdowns...He is the 2nd all-time leading receiver in the history of the Detroit Lions with 469 receptions for 6,499 yards...He also posted 35 career touchdowns for the Honolulu blue and silver (tied for second all-time) and had four 1,000-yard receiving seasons (1997-99, 2001) in the Motor City...Johnnie left the University of Southern California as what many say, the best receiver ever to play there.
