About

Though it may seem hard to believe, Jeff Cohn was not always a tennis (or any sport) enthusiast. Always dabbling in creative writing, he would write about anything non-sports. But after witnessing the Verdasco vs. Nadal match in the 2009 Australian Open his life changed forever.

Nowadays it is hard to find him not writing, doing, or saying something tennis-related. Jeff brings a unique style to Bleacher Report with his captivating topics and “curveball” articles. He looks to attract as many non-tennis fans to the sport as possible because he could not have imagined a life without it.

Jeff has titles as both a Featured Columnist and Tennis Community Leader for Bleacher Report.

He is currently a student at the University of Miami in Florida, where he is Majoring in Electronic Media (through the School of Communication) and plans on additionally Triple Minoring in Business Administration, Sports Administration, and Music Business and Entertainment Industries.

All feedback/questions are appreciated and encouraged and you can send him a message if you have anything you would like to say, especially if it pertains to issues within the community!

Jeff, do the Editors at The Bleacher Report have QUALITY CONTROL?!! My complaint is that The Tennis French Open '13 is just around the corner, but building up to it, you have numerous so called Tennis "writers" that publish "articles" that just: rehash, repeat, have errors &/or inaccuracies in them or really having absolutely nothing worthwhile to say, for the sake of just CHURNING out articles!

Apologies, Jeff. My aim was to enhance reader experience, not to undermine your credibility. Thanks for the feedback. I've learned something.—Glen

Jeff, I think it is still too early to determine if Rafa is back to the Nadal we know. He has not been tested yet and he needs more time to get in the groove. Unfortunately, I don’t know if he will ever reach the levels on hard courts again. He will always be holding back for fear of re- injuring the knee. (Even though his knee was injured after a grueling clay court season.)
The real test will come if he plays Indian Wells or Miami. I wish him well.

Hi Jeff - Are u the community leader and moderator for this tennis section here? do u screen applicants who wants to post article?

btw, its not really fair that just because i am a rafa fan and dislike federer, u have to keep banning me along with a few other rafa fans...this is highly unprofessional and unwarranted in a fan forum where people should be able to speak their mind without degenerating into farce.

anyways i had sent an application earlier to post articles here and surprisingly got rejected...and i can assure you i can write better and more objectively than most others who post here...i am gonna apply once again and hope this it will be more of an objective evaluation, rather than an emotional one.

    Regards,
    Steve

Hey Jeff. I just wanted to confirm—the poll should be in your article now. I'm not sure what happened, but let me know if anything else comes up. Thanks! (Looking forward to the Federer-Djokovic match!)

Hmm that's odd with the poll. I reported it, so it should be taken care of.
