About

I am a 2010 Duquesne University graduate. I studied History and Political Science at Duquesne but am currently studying for my Masters in Law & Public Policy at California University of Pennsylvania. . Aside from academics, I have always had a true passion for sports.

Being from the City of Champions, I could have easily fallen into the trap of becoming a diehard Pittsburgh sports fan. There is a certain level of excellence and expectation that comes attached to our sports reality in this city. It's something that only someone from Pittsburgh could truly understand.

Instead of becoming a true follower, I have tried to remain an unbiased observer, wanting to enjoy the competition for what it is, regardless of who was playing. I enjoy watching the Patriots as much as I enjoy watching the Steelers. The Braves as much as the Pirates. Plain and simple, I am a fan of the game and of competition.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

I've been to a ton of football games but one of the most anticipated games I remember going to was the 10/31/04 primteime matchup of the New England Patriots playing at Heniz Field against the Steelers. The Patriots came in on a 21 game win streak and the Steelers jumped out on them early. They never looked back, winning 34-20. They went 15-1 that year. One of the most electric games I've seen.
