Aron's Bio

A living, eating, and breathing sports maniac, Aron Glatzer has been published in the San Jose Mercury News, Chicago Tribune, and Denver Post, among many others; covering a wide-range of sporting events.

Glatzer jumped on board with Bleacher Report as a Community/Marketing Associate to help this site expand and reach new horizons.

That's me with the beard in that photo, somehow still in celebratory mode in Arizona after the Ducks lost Dennis Dixon for the year after rupturing his ACL.

  5. Just wanted to fill you in on the mock draft plan.

I’m going to do a random draw for teams this weekend. So if you want to actually make picks, please let me know before Sunday morning (unless you already have, then don’t worry about it).

The plan right now is to hold the mock draft in a chat room on April 19th at 2:00 PM EST. Please let me know if this works for you. Depending on everyone’s availability, we may move the time around a bit. I’ll send out the chat room info and the exact time it’s scheduled towards the middle of next week.

The format will be like this:

I’ll announce that the Dolphins are on the clock, whoever is making their pick will make it and give their reason for the pick. Everyone else will get a few minutes to comment on the pick. Then we’ll announce the next team in on the board.

I’m not sure yet if we’ll put all of the comments in the article (I would like to), it depends on how long it ends up. We may end up having to select the best comments for each pick.

I’m looking forward to working with you, should be great!

Email me at scrowe@gmail.com or post a comment on by bulletin board if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Sean

  6. Aron,

Over in the NFL section, we're trying to put together an "official" Bleacher Report NFL mock draft. We're getting together the best from the NFL section and assigning everyone a team or two (depending on how many people we get). The draft will take place in a chat room set up for us by Zander.

Zander recommended that I extend an invitation your way. I've been told you're a football nut like myself. I'd love to have you involved, either making a few of the selections or offering commentary between picks. Let me know if you're interested.

    Thanks,
    Sean

  7. Thanks for the support boss.

  8. Hey Aron,

I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.

Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Aron!

    Zander

  9. Aron, I'm looking forward to this next article you're going to put out. I keep checking your bio to see if it has been published yet...

Thanks again for everything you've been doing.

    -R.H.
