My name is Somers Price and I am a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism. I grew up in the Philadelphia area and have been following sports of all levels on a national and local scene since a very young age. I have spent enough time around sports, both as a participant and a fan, to know the sort of impact they can have on a society and how important it is to have people speak their mind about them. Every time I have someone ask me what my favorite sport to watch, write about, or talk about, I think that I have an answer locked down, and then a huge story comes along for one of the others, and I find myself scratching my head as to why I hadn't reconsidered my previous answer. I have a limited career in terms of journalistic writing but I hope that my views and opinions are clearly expressed and I appreciate any and all feedback regarding what I say about whoever.
