Gregg Sternaman: Happy To Share My Space With "A Little Bit About Sternaman"
11/19/2009
As the passion became a career quest, I realized I lost some innocence and spark to my writing. With that being decided upon, my mission has reverted back. I no longer write as a career goal, simply for the love of writing and the love of the sport. Simply a husband, a Dad and a passionate Sox fan who loves to write. I like it better like this.
At the end of the game, the kings and the pawns go in the same box. However, if I have the choice, I'd prefer to be a king.
I hope you enjoy my four picks of the day stories:

Born and bred Red Sox Red. You may notice a hint of this in most things I write. Favorite Sox moments include 2004, 2007 and the Yankees choke of 2004. I said, and the Yankees Choke of 2004. Least favorite moments, Buckner's boot, Boone and Bucky's slaps on the ass, Signing of ARod and Teixeira. I like to banter Sox vs Yankees but I do respect the traditions. I love the way Jeter plays the game. I do predict however that like any good business, spending the most doesn't win championships. Team work wins championships..Favorite sports teams are all from Beantown. Twenty three World Championships since 1956 I believe..More than any sports city in America. Favorite life moments, birth of my three kids, marriage to my third wife (oops, oops again)..running the Boston Marathon in 01, running Mtn Washington and sky diving last summer. I want to die young..at a very old age..
I try to write with a conscience...Enjoy the sport but I'm not afraid to grapple with the topics that have an effect on life. My goal is to allow readers to have an opinion while at the same time not swimming away from voicing my own. The Bleacher Report is like the Sox and the Yankees...spirited fun..Never to be taken too seriously.
I am also a PROUD SUPPORTER of "A Glove of Their Own". Visit their website at www.agloveoftheirown.com. The book It is the heartfelt story that is sweeping the nation by teaching pay it forward through baseball.
I am also a supporter of Team Hoyt and The Joe Niekro Foundation at www.teamhoyt.com and www.joeniekrofoundation.org.

Hey,
Henry's handball has got the whole football world talking. What better time for another Great Debate? Should Henry have owned up? Is he a cheat? Should FIFA have allowed a replay? Have your say in the great debate!

Todd, after the Henry handball yesterday, I have decided that replay must be implemented in the beautiful game somehow. Please tell me your reaction.
